If you're wanting a unique and memorable wedding with an adventurous twist, look no further than Mt. Hood Skibowl. The Historic Warming Hut is an iconic view on Mt. Hood, one that you and your guests will not be able to stop staring at. I cannot recommend the experience they provide enough; from a quiet ride up to the warming hut on the lift to the alpine slide ride down after the ceremony. Mt. Hood Skibowl is the epitome of "no bad views". Better add them to your list of potential venues when planning your Oregon adventure wedding!

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm Tulip Festival is such an iconic time of year in Oregon! And this year, I plan on spending a whole lot of time there. A season pass is a no brainer if you live close to their Woodburn, Oregon location so that's what I did; purchased myself a season pass. And you can, too!

The Tulip Festival is perfect for family, maternity, surprise proposals, and engagement portraits at The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm and I am offering limited sessions this year for the duration of their bloom season on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays! I am encouraging sunrise and sunset times, but I'm definitely not afraid of mid-day light, I love all kinds of light. See the session below for proof! ​Step 3: Styling consultation is included in your session! This is when we can begin to talk about clothing choices and colors. And if you want to do an activity!! Picnic? Hot air balloon ride? NOTHING IS OFF THE TABLE! A hot air balloon ride surprise proposal would be EPIC.

This pairing of Mt. Hood Wilderness locations is one of my favorite engagement session combinations for any time of year! Mt. Hood has always been one of my favorite playgrounds. I've spent countless hours exploring, hiking, camping, and photographing couples in what is probably top two of Oregon's most iconic geography, perhaps only behind Crater Lake. On this particular day, we met mid-afternoon to start our jaunt to a cozy waterfall before heading to Trillium Lake just down the highway. We both came bearing gifts for the other; Corrinne and Mike brought me homemade pumpkin bread! It was so damn good, it didn't last the weekend at my house.

It's sometimes hard for me to describe how happy these kinds of days make me. I can't believe how lucky I am to have found my calling at such a young age so to think that this is work is quite baffling. But Corrinne did a wonderful job when she so kindly wrote a Google Review of their experience.
